I HATE dust jackets with a passion and I will not tolerate them on these books. I want pure normal hardcover books (and they were originally meant to be as such). That is what I paid for and what I am expecting to get. If I don't get what was originally said, expect to hear more from me... So the book's actual covers better have the "Fallout: Equestria" symbol printed on the front and the number on the side (like promised).
chill out dude. Threatening legal action won't get you anywhere. :ajbemused:
As stated in the FAQ: "The book is being printed as a dark-green cloth bound hardback with a foil stamped title and spine."

All you needed to do was ask for pictures without the jackets: http://imgur.com/a/6mE9P
I apologize then. I get extremely defensive about these things... I don't like being lied to, betrayed, etc... (You can even talk to my mother about this... She've gotten plenty of calls from my school back when I was in grades school simply because of me yelling at the lunch people for false advertising and serving the wrong food)...
Ooh, this sort of thing upsets me! They aren't making any money off of this. They volunteered to have these books made for us. Every cent we paid went solely towards the printing of these books, not a dime to these good men (and maybe women) who put a great deal of time and effort to bring fellow fans a physical copy of a story we would NEVER otherwise be able to possess unless we were willing to drop a HECK of a lot more money and maybe not even then! Sue-happy folk like you are the reason why people stand back and watch someone choke to death on a chicken bone rather than attempting to render first aid. You should be ashamed of yourself. Especially with such a weak apology and attempting to justify your rude behavior!

I, too, prefer the hardcover as you like it but would have been fine without it because what's really important is the story inside- that it is a good quality print and unedited from the original. That's what you wanted too, right? A physical copy of the story you love?

I am not saying that you didn't have the right to be angry if that wasn't the case, or even to request a refund or pursue damages for the cost of the book if a refund was not provided- HOWEVER, threats to do so should only have been warranted after confirmation that changes to the product had indeed been made rather than immediately following your question, putting our KIND and GENEROUS volunteers through unnecessary and undeserved stress!

You ought to keep that in mind the next time you feel like lashing out before you possess all of the facts.

In any case, I for one would like to thank all you volunteers for bringing us a physical form of this much loved tale and say I am delighted to receive the bonus dust jackets!

I would just like to say that The majority of us do not feel this way, and we really appreciate you all for putting your time and effort into this stressful project. I think it is amazing That you all, as regular fans of the book, went out of your way to provide fans of FO:E with a physical copy of the beloved fanfic; and all this was a non-profit project! I hope you can look past this extremely childish comment and know that we really do appreciate the work you've put into this. Thank you! /)

Thank you all for your support and your positive comments *(\
In light of everything, please don't hound Jusey1 too much. Although inappropriate, I suspect his comments were simply said in a fit of carelessness. Historically he has been a rather positive supporter of this project.

Actually, I think I just had a Bipolar moment. (I'm not diagnosed with anything YET but a lot of people Ik believes I have a few disorders and one we agreed on is Bipolar 2)...

You see, even the slightest thing can really get me into the extreme side of a mood and with minutes, I can flip-flop back to another extreme mood rather easily... As what happened here, I got worried about something and that led to me getting angry, defense, etc which obviously pushed me to a rather nasty rage and I posted that...

If I waited for a few moments (where I calm down to a depressed state and then eventually back to a more "content state"), I probably would've just asked a question nicely rather than posting a "childish post".

Also honestly, I don't mind dust jackets in the end... I just sometime like to take them off to see the book itself... (and actually, cause of me possibly having some sort of autistic disorder, I am rather picky on plans related things and want everything to go according to plan, which is probably another reason why I freaked out at this).

Oh lawd, the Perrier in the background is looking at me.
What do the books look like minus the dust covers? Anything like the first/ five-book print also on the shelf?

As zemming already posted - https://imgur.com/a/6mE9P - the books look basically same as in the first printing.
