Hey Everyone,
How are you doing. Like genuinely, how are you?

I truly hope things are going well for you. Maybe your semester is off to a good start, or you got a raise at your job. Whatever it may be, I hope today has been brighter than the past.

Because shit's about to get depressing!

It is my great pleasure to announce the first ever printing of Fallout Equestria: Murky Number Seven!

One of the 'Big Five' FoE stories MN7 follows the life of young Murky who was born into slavery, raised without knowledge of freedom or the concept of choice. But when the brutality of his newest masters in Fillydelphia becomes all too much and the heroic escape of a certain little mare takes place before his eyes, Murky finally discovers a life worth fighting for. His own.

Broken from the indoctrination, Murky sets out to reclaim the freedom that has been denied to him throughout his entire life. Against abusive slavers, a fatal illness wracking his body and the attentions of ponies that often cannot be trusted, Murky sets out to achieve the impossible: To escape Fillydelphia.

But when your cutie mark is a set of shackles... are you really supposed to be free at all?

This book features the complete, unabridged story, printed as a high quality leather bound tome with lightweight paper, silvered edges, and a silk bookmark. Truly a book to stand the test of time proudly poised on your bookshelf.

The Print Project is supported entirely by Fallout fans (like you!), so the ordering process is a little unique. Put simply, everyone signs up first, we request quotes for all the books needed, and we divide the total across everyone who signed up. Next we'll email out invoices, and after everyone pays we can start printing books. A month or two later when they're all finished, we pack them up and ship them out to everyone!

Each book will be about $69.99 USD, with free shipping to the US.
Shipping to Canada will be +$30 USD, International will be +$35-45 USD.

The final cost will likely change by a few dollars depending on how many people actually sign up. As long as you save up a little more than our estimates, you will be more than fine.

So without further ado, the signup form: https://goo.gl/oNNSFA

Hey everyone,
Just a small update now that we're into June. Unfortunately some personal things came up for me, so I haven't been on Discord or posted many updates lately.

On to the good news: Duck and Cover has been in production and we are in communication with the manufacture to ensure the earliest possible delivery date. Unless something changes we should be shipping towards the end of June.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support throughout the printing process.

Wait! I still want a copy!
We usually have some extra copies left over towards the end of the project. If you are interested in the extra books, please sign up on the Reserve Signup Form

Hey everyone,
Just a heads up that at this time all unpaid invoices have been deleted. If you try to access your online invoice and reach a 404 page, that's why.

Moving Forward:
We've submitted the final files with the manufacture and they'll be moving forward with production. It's estimated to take about 5-6 weeks, with the books shipping out to everyone shortly thereafter. So tentatively we're looking at the end of May, into June. Once we have a more accurate timeline we'll post another update.

Hey everyone,
A huge thank you to the over 800 people who signed up for the printing of Duck and Cover!

Thanks to everyone's overwhelming support we were able to meet and exceed our goal, which helped bring down the cost of the books for everyone!

What happens now?
Now that signups have closed we need everyone to pay their invoices so we can pay the printer and begin production. If you can still see your invoice online, please pay it; even if it says 'past due'.

Over the coming days we will email reminders for unpaid invoices. After that we will begin deleting past due invoices.

Hey everyone,
Many thanks to the over 600 people who have signed up so far! We really appreciate your support and hope you are as excited as we are to read Duck and Cover in its physical form.

Just a couple small updates:
Signups are set to close April 15th. So if you haven't signed up already you have about a week to do so. The signup form is here: https://goo.gl/4MbHHV

And we're going to go ahead and start sending out invoices on a rolling basis. That means if you've signed up before now (April 9th, 01:30 GMT-0400) you should have already received an invoice. If not, please double check your spam folder before sending us an email. Invoices are due about a week after being sent.

Thanks to having so many people sign up, we were able to get the cost down a decent bit:
Each book is $25.99 USD, with free shipping to the US.
International shipping was close to what we estimated, but the exact price is calculated based on each country / order.

The rest of the invoices we'll send out as time permits. If you've signed up just now don't be too surprised if it takes a few days for an invoice to be sent.

Update April 2:
I've heard rumors that some individuals thought this was some kind of April Fools prank, or some other form of tomfoolery. I just want to set the record straight. We here at Absolutely Everything take things $100% seriously. The very idea of such shenanigans is incomprehensible!

Are you tired of Fallout Equestria stories with morals, virtues, and overt heroism? Do you just want to roam the wasteland unabashedly blowing everything up?

Well do we have the story for you!

Announcing the first ever official printing of Fallout Equestria: Duck and Cover!

This story follows the fun-loving Atom Smasher as she unwittingly becomes a hero, while somehow having less of a conscience than the raiders, slavers, bandits and baddies she's been charged with fending off.

Because Duck and Cover is a quick read, we're doing a two-for-one and are also including the sequel Fallout Equestria: Make Love Not War, which directly follows Duck and Cover and provides a more serious look at Atom Smasher as she joins her brother and searches the wasteland for their missing father.

The book features both complete, unabridged stories, printed in as high quality hardcover book, with a deep rich hunter green cloth cover, silver foil stamping, and a fabulous dust jacket showcasing the heroine of the wasteland.

The Print Project is supported entirely by Fallout fans (like you!), so the ordering process is a little unique. Put simply, everyone signs up first, then we request quotes for all the books needed, and we divide the total across everyone who signed up. Hey everyone,
First off I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who made this project possible, including everyone who had faith and signed up to preorder this third printing of Fallout: Equestria. This project would not have happened without the support of everyone involved. Thank you.

I'm new to this, what's up?
Welcome to the Fallout Equestria Print Project website & forums! We make limited-edition printings of popular FoE stories, and this is where the action happens.

Right now we do not have any active projects, but this is where we post updates including any new printing announcements. Be sure to check back here every so often, or you might want to look into changedetection.com, which will email you when the homepage updates. Or If This Then That which will email you when new posts on the forums are made. If you're savvy you can also use the site's RSS feed.

If you're looking for specific information about our past printings, feel free to check out the FAQ.

Moving Forward
At this time we no longer have copies of Fallout: Equestria available for public sale. I'll probably bring a couple copies with me to cons if you can catch me there, and we may have some available nearer December depending on what comes up. But for now expect things to be a little quieter around here.

Cons!
Trotcon
It's my pleasure to announce that we will have an official FoE Print Project panel at Trotcon! Come join us Saturday 6:30 to 7:30 in Panel Room 1.

This is the first time in years we've had almost all our staff, including our editing team, in one place. And Trotcon's theme this year's is Fallout, so it should be pretty fun.

BronyCon
I and a couple of the other guys will also be at BronyCon this year. No panel or anything planned, but if you can find us say hi!

Edit 1: May 21 23:15 (GMT -0400): All unpaid invoices from the first batch of invoices (April 15th and earlier) have been deleted. If you click on yours and get a 404 page, that's why. We're going to crunch some numbers and hopefully get the second batch of invoices sent out in the next few days.

Edit 2: May 24 19:45 (GMT -0400): The second batch of invoices have been emailed out to everyone who signed up on the reserve list between April 16th and May 10th. They are due on Tuesday May 30th.

Edit 3: May 31 23:55 (GMT -0400): All unpaid invoices from the second batch have been deleted. If you click on your invoice and get a 404 page, that's why.
The plan is still to have the 1st and 2nd reserve batches shipped out this weekend. We'll post an update here when they are.

Edit 4: June 3 13:20 (GMT -0400): All the paid for reserve list books have been shipped out as of this morning. You should have receive an email from stamps.com with your tracking number. If you are outside the US, please keep an eye on your tracking number to make sure your book gets through customs.

Edit 5: June 7 22:20 (GMT -0400): The reserve list has been closed and is no longer accepting new responses.

Edit 6: June 9 22:30 (GMT -0400): Invoices have been sent out to the remainder of the reserve list.

Edit 7: June 17 21:45 (GMT -0400): All unpaid invoices from the 3rd batch were deleted at around 3 AM. We should get them shipped out in a week or so, just keep an eye here for updates.

Edit 8: June 24 18:00 (GMT -0400): Books from this last batch of the reserve list will ship out later this week. Tracking numbers were accidentally sent out early to some international people. If you already got yours, please wait till after Thursday before emailing us "ZOMG MY TRACKING HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN DAYSSSSSS"

Hey everyone,
Now that the vast majority of books have been delivered, we're going to start making our way through the reserve list. Unfortunately even though we did order some extra books, there's a lot of people signed up.

I didn't receive an invoice!
At this time invoices have been sent out to everyone on the reserve list.

When are the payments due?
For the final batch of invoices, payment is due June 15th 23:59 (GMT-0400). If your invoice is unpaid after that, it will be deleted and you will lose your spot on the reserve list.

I've moved or am in the process of moving, are you guys going to be able handle a change in address?
Yes. However, you must email us about your address change ASAP otherwise your book will be shipped to your previous address. If you're unsure what address we have on file, it will be listed on your online invoice.

When will the books be shipped?
We're planning on processing a good portion of the reserve list, then shipping the books en masse the first weekend in June.

If you didn't receive an invoice, don't worry. Depending on how many people did not pay after the first batch of invoices are due, we will continue to work our way through the reserve list. Updates will be posted here as we progress.

As always, if you have any questions about the project, you should check out the FAQ, post in the FoE third printing questions thread. Or feel free to send us an email at FoEPrintProject@gmail.com.

Edit (May 6 13:00-ish EST): All the books were dropped off at the USPS depot last night (Friday May 5th). Tracking numbers were emailed via stamps.com. If you don't see yours, double check your spam folder.

Edit 2 (May 7 01:00 EST): I believe the only people who may not have tracking numbers are people with 1-book orders outside the USA. I'm pretty sure I just forgot to check the "email people" box when printing the first half of the list.
We'll send a mailchimp email out with tracking numbers once I get all the data compiled and imported into the mailing list, probably late Sunday or late Monday.
International books take a few days to process before leaving the US. So for anyone concerned about needing the tracking to pick their books up from customs, you should still be fine.

Edit 3 (May 8 23:40 EST) The mailchimp email was sent out containing everyone's tracking numbers in case you missed the previous email or was part of the group that I forgot to check the box for. If you didn't get it, check your spam folder.

*** *** ***

Many thanks to yetanothername, Derek and his grandmother, NPCtendo and his wife, and everyone who was able to help pack the books. Seriously, this would not have happened without your help. Thank you.

For those asking about the reserve list, we're going to get a little R&R in before we figure the pricing and logistics. We'll post an update when we send out invoices with more info.

*** *** ***

On to the news: The books are almost here, and they look absolutely stunning! :raritywink:

Image
Check out the other pics here: http://imgur.com/a/aPzk3

We're planning on getting them all boxed up and shipped out this Friday/Saturday with tracking number being emailed out shortly thereafter. We'll post more info here as we move forward.

Even more good news: Dust Jackets!
We know how much everyone wants to take care of their books, especially with this 3rd printing being so special. So each book includes a matching dust jacket! They're a velvety-smooth matte, which not only look and feel great, but also help protect the cover for the reader on the go.

I'm new to this, what's up?
To learn more about the project, what's going on and what we're doing, you should read the the FAQ, which goes over the details.
In short, signups for the third printing of Fallout: Equestria are closed, but we may have extra books available for sale near the end of the project. If you are interested please fill out the reserve sign up form: https://goo.gl/iv0Gdx

That's all for now folks! As always, if you have any questions about the project, you should check out the FAQ, post in the FoE 3rd Printing Questions Thread. Or feel free to send us an email at FoEPrintProject@gmail.com.

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update. The books recently finished printing and have entered the "binding" stage of production. This is the part where the take the printed part of the book and stick the covers on. Timeline-wise, we're still on track for early May.

If you have moved since signing up please be sure to email us your new address so your books get sent to the right place.

Once we get a little closer to the ship date, we'll send out an email and with last day for updating address. Until then don't worry if you don't hear back from us for a couple days, lately I've been a bit slow replying to emails :twilightsheepish:

Hey everyone,
I know things have been a little quiet lately. Just to keep you posted on the state of the project, the deposit with our manufacture was paid and we have been moving forward with production. We're excited to be working on such a fantastic book, and can't wait for everyone to see the finished product.

After working over the details with our manufacture we have been informed the books will not be finished until early May. This is simply due to the extra complexity of the book. Our unfamiliarity with how that affected the production time means our original timeline estimates were off by a few weeks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process. If you are moving in April/May and need your address changed, please send us an email at FoEPrintProject@gmail.com and we can update your address in our files.

On to the positive news!

If you haven't already, I would definitely recommend checking out Hobbes' tumblr. He's been posting some of the stunning chapter art that's being included.
