MN7 - Books Shipping!
Re: MN7 - Books Shipping!
I am so pumped for shipping to start.
Re: MN7 - Books Shipping!
I thought they had a proof reader or something like that. If i had know they didn't I would have offered to do it free of charge. I sure there are other fans that would be happy to help out with these things too. This seems to be a very supportive and wonderful community ^_^ickda wrote:Voidgazer wrote:Got mine. It looks great. But I'm only about 150 pages in and I kinda think your proof readers dropped the ball. There alot of text errors so far. There are words missing in some places, extra words in others, a couple places where the wrong word is used, and one spot where the words were there but in the wrong order. It's still a good story and readable and it looks beautiful but it is aggravating and the errors feel like they detract from the quality of the printing a bit.
The issue is this is a non profit printing of fan fiction. Fallout Equestria also has errors in it, so to duck and cover. These books would be exorbently more expensive If they hird a editor.
This is the same book that is on FIMfiction.net, errors and all.

It is, Who knows perhaps I am speaking out of my ass, But I am sure a wild zemmie will appear and straighten things out... hopefully.
BUt this is what I heard.. read, I think I am right, But who knows.

Re: MN7 - Books Shipping!
Our editing team worked closely with Fuzzy to help clean up the story prior to printing. At over 1.5 million words, our focus was on the breadth, not necessarily the depth.
As ickda said, this is a fan-run project, printing fan fiction stories. If there's an error in the fimfiction copy, there's no guarantee that error won't show up in the physical print. Especially for books like Fallout: Equestria where Kkat very clearly did not want the story edited.

So when are the books being sent for the reserve list?
Re: MN7 - Books Shipping!
Reserve list books will be shipped out as a batch, later this week. You will receive an email with your tracking number when they ship.ickda wrote:So when are the books being sent for the reserve list?
