Hey everyone,
I hope you all are having a very Merry Christmas. Personally I've been looking forward to this day for a while now. Both to relax with family, and because of what in means to the fandom.

It is my great pleasure to announce the 4th ever printing of Fallout: Equestria! Celebrating the 7th anniversary of the story's completion, this definitive edition of of the book features the entire unabridged story of Littlepip, as she leaves the stable and saves the wasteland.

The book itself is a leather-bound tome, featuring gilded edges, smyth-sewn binding, and all the furnishings of a deluxe book made to stand the test of time.

Inside is the complete Fallout: Equestria story, as canonized by Kkat, printed on a sturdy lightweight paper. Every chapter showcases beautiful artwork by Hobbes-Maxwell. His art has been a cornerstone of our printings; thanks to his classical background his art complements each and every chapter, without overtly spoiling the nuances of what lies ahead.

Every day it seems we hear from fans who either missed the printing two year ago, or who want another copy of the book for family/friends.
This is your chance to be a part of making something great! These printings wouldn't be possible without the support of everyone who signs up and pre-orders the book.

So how does this work?
Put simply, the print project functions like a large group. So everyone signs up first, we figure out the price for all the books we need, then we email out invoices. Once everyone pays we're able to place the order and start printing the books! It's estimated they'll take a few months to finish, but once they're done we'll pack them up and ship them out to everyone.

The final cost will likely change a little bit, depending on how many people actually sign up, but we're estimating:
Each book will be about $49.99 USD, with free shipping to the US.
Shipping to Canada will be about +$15, everywhere else about +$25

So without further ado, the signup form: https://goo.gl/WqLp2P

Signups will be open through January 10th.

If you have any questions about the project, you should check out the FAQ, which goes into a bit more detail than this post. Or feel free to send us an email at FoEPrintProject@gmail.com.

Is this the same as the third printing? I noticed the picture used is that of the third printing.

I would like to know as well. If this is the same product as the 3rd printing, or is it different?

4 printings in 7 years for the original. 0 printings in 2 1/2 years for Horizons. Just an observation, not complaining. I know people still want a copy of the original and I'm happy for them, but the wait is killing us. :cmcwalk:

The 4th edition is almost the same as the 3rd edition, with some minor updates and corrections. The cover material will be more 'leathery' instead of the plain flat black of the 3rd edition. The dust jacket will have a different coating so it won't pick up fingerprints so easily. And the text will have a few minor corrections for things that were missed with the 3rd edition.

So if you already have a copy you don't need a 4th edition. But there are a lot of people who missed out on the last printing, or who still want an extra copy of the book.

So is this going to be the same paper type as the previous one then? Because the last one had super fragile paper quality that was meant only for a display piece imo... at least I would never read it myself due to the risk of tearing the pages. Hopefully it will be better paper quality though. :applejackunsure:

Great news! :pinkiegasp: I decided not to get the previous printing due to the leather cover and learned much too late that it was synthetic. For the sake of other vegetarians/vegans, I wish you could make that clear already in the main text and not just hide it between two parentheses in the FAQ. I almost ordered it anyways – that's how much I wanted the book. So, thank you for giving me and others another chance to get this book.

It's the same lightweight paper. It does feel thin, bu bibles have been around for quite a while and don't have an issue. The paper really is more durable that people give it credit for.
But we definitely nudersand there's some concerns, and this printing gives people a chance to pick up a 'backup' copy if they really want to keep it pristine.

Glad you're able to join this printing! Sorry for not being more clear about the cover. It's always hard to find a balance between including a ton of info in the announcement, and being clear and concise. Once I rewrite the FAQ I'll try to make that more prominent.

I've been interested in getting a copy of the book since a few months after the 3rd print!
Would it be possible to pay the invoice using a prepaid Visa gift card?

to anyone who has not yet read the book and is thinking of getting it, i HIGHLY recommend it. i just finished reading the 3rd edition i have around 20 minutes ago and i must say it is a beautiful work. it had me in tears a few times which is hard to accomplish, and the ending is heartbreaking but satisfying. it honestly hurts to finally let the book rest on my bookshelf. once again, very much recommended. :cwalk:
