Project Horizons Informational Post
Re: Project Horizons Informational Post
I definitely need a bigger bookshelf.
FE:Heroes ends in last 5 chapters.
FE:Murky Number Sever seems to be ending soon too, with its 1M word count.
I wish there ever was a print run of FE:Memories. I really like the story so far.

That's why you have a bookshelf just for these books.rainwell wrote:I definitely need a bigger bookshelf.

Okay, so I get that they're doing their own proofing over somewhere else - so the actual text is inviolate. Fair enough. But are they doing chapter art as well, or do we still need to be on the lookout for that? How about dust jackets?
And, most importantly, regardless of how much creative control we get on these books, will we definitely still be doing a print run on this site?
I mean, I'd like to have all three stories printed up by you guys (that was, after all, the entire point of this site, to print these three fics), but if the author is being precious, or if all the project bigwigs have dropped off the internet, then I'd like to know, so's I can complete my collection and start designing the shrine looking for a bookcase to put it on.

I want to point out, Somber all but confirmed a printing in this video: https://youtu.be/LlOIjwcCDDk?t=2h36m29s It is just a matter of him finishing the editing.Dozy Dreamer wrote:Okay, so I get that they're doing their own proofing over somewhere else - so the actual text is inviolate. Beware, though. If you haven't read it, the rest of the video is very spoiler heavy, as it's a discussion of the last chapter.

Huh. Somber's on Fimfic. And is publishing PH there as the editing finishes. Yay!
Re: Project Horizons Informational Post
I'm getting a little bit worried. The pace the Project Horizons updates... Will it be finished in time for you guys to manage a 2016 print run? If only there was a way to help them all...

Here is my concern. Somber has confirmed a print of Project Horizons. But will he be doing it himself or has he approached anyone like the fine people here in doing it.

From what he said in that video, he's given this group permission to do the printing, but they have to wait for him to finish the editing.Stormlion1 wrote:Here is my concern. I don't think this will be decided here though. That is most likely Somber's decision.
Edit: Most likely 99% of the people who will buy a PH book will have already read it, making the warning somewhat unnecessary.
Hooray for being in the 1%!
Its going to be quite interesting when the time comes though.
