Quick update from Canada.

According to the tracking number, the books (possibly all of them) are in Burlington, ON as of about 6pm today.

All it says for me in regards to Burlington is "Scanned By Shipping Partner", which might not mean much.
An earlier step in my tracking shows it being scanned by a shipping partner in New York state, and then it said it was in transit around Columbus, Ohio. It may or may not even be over the border yet.

Also, it got scanned about 4 separate times in New York for no apparent reason

You know your postal system's bawked when it can send a package over the Atlantic faster then it can send one over a border

Also, with the civic holiday coming up this Monday (called Joseph Brant Day in Burlington, ON, where at least some of the books may currently reside), I'm not expecting to receive this until at least next Tuesday, probably Wednesday.

So, yeah, over two weeks to ship it across the border (which it started really close to), and about 4-5 days for the first cross-Atlantic confirmation. Welp, if I've learned one lesson, it's never trust USPS/Newgistics with my packages. Let it be known that I'd gladly pay extra just to have UPS or Purolator take care of my shipment for any future printings.

Just got them books here in Finland about hour ago. In perfect condition, even the box seems to have survived in re-usable state.

Have our poor canadian friends gotten theirs yet?

Regarding that; I do have an order done here domestically that i have been waiting to arrive for a week, the time them books did take to get across the ocean and i have not yet gotten the other order. What quite peculiar times we're living when across the ocean orders arrive faster than ones done within your own country.




[Edit:] In the typical overly enthusiastic squealing fanboy way i did forget in my excitement to tell that i am quite pleased with the books. They're quite... AMAZING!

It still says that for me, but I received my books in the mail today. Might be a problem with the updating, I'm pretty sure they're still moving
