You'd have to modify all of the pdfs if you changed the book dimensions too much. You can print on a smaller book with smaller margins if you want, but I'm not entirely sure how much smaller you could go without having to redo them.

I did the same thing with The BookPatch:
I Just wanted it some physiscal form and read it again, wasnt that costly, 60 bucks and they came out nice!

I have the pdf for the fic as a whole, but is there a certain method to cut it down or a way to follow that example above?

Is that $60 including shipping and all other associated costs, or just for the printing itself? I would love to get a set of books like that, but the whole process just seems intimidating. Did you have to modify any resources yourself, or just pull a file of the story and that cover from somewhere? And for that matter, how long did the whole process take (setting it up and the printing)?tetrapony wrote:I did the same thing with The BookPatch:

Fallout Equestria was one of the first fanfictions I ever read, for MLP or any other narrative, and I've read countless more since then. I maintain that it is the best.

The covers I got by sending a message through facebook to YoshiOfADown. (He links to his facebook in this post. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=122&start=90#p2001)
I'm going to be printing myself a set shortly after the new year. (Can't Wait)

So, it's been almost five months since this thread was made, and I've been checking everyday since then for updates on whether the printing's going to happen or not. I know I can do it myself, but I'd much rather get a hard copy along with the covers that the printing this website provided. So a little bit of news would be very much appreciated.... I mean, if that's alright with you ........ I understand the hardships that have been going on, and fully understand if none of the admins choose to respond.

I hate to say it, but this project is pretty much dead.Isaac3924 wrote:So, it's been almost five months since this thread was made, and I've been checking everyday since then for updates on whether the printing's going to happen or not. If you want the books, I'm afraid you're going to have to print them on your own. Your best bet is to ask others who printed it themselves for advice.
