I live fairly close to Indianapolis. Not exactly an easy trip to take without a good bit of planning, but I may be able to help. Definitely interested in seeing where we can take this though.Prism Smasher wrote:I've decided that I cannot, in good conscience, allow this to die. Not yet. I'm going to need a lot of help, and I hope some of you guys will step up, since there's no way I can do this alone. If you're located in Indianapolis, let me know and I'll see if I can set up a meet to see how we can get this off the ground.
Will post some of the ideas I have later tonight.

Re: Indefinite Hiatus
Okay! So, ideas...
In order to cut down on turnaround between print runs and to keep from getting overwhelmed, I thought we could print it in batches of 100-120 copies at a time. It would make the books a little more expensive, however.
I think it would be best if we limit orders to 5-10 copies per individual and 25-30 for group orders to start, so that we don't get resellers blocking out individual collectors.
Finally, I had the idea of running two different layouts. One would be the multi-volume box set as is, while the other would be a large, coffee-table type, illustrated omnibus edition with ribbon bookmark and leather and everything for those who are feeling a bit more decadent.
Of course, without Kkat's permission, this is all speculation.

Re: Indefinite Hiatus
That sounds absolutely wonderful! Limiting the number of copies per person is understandable and I agree with it, but I would increase batch limit to 200 sets per batch (just my opinion). Anyway, that "coffee-table" type sounds really interesting, but I just can't imagine how it would look.Prism Smasher wrote:Okay! So, ideas...

So I wish you good luck and I hope it turns out well!

Good to hear it!
Still going to work up plans for that omnibus edition though.
