Re: Book cost total estimates
Is "book cost" the cost per book, or for all books? If I would order more books at once, are the other costs staying the same?
Re: Book cost total estimates
"Book cost" is the total amount for all five books. The shipping costs are dependent on how many sets fit in a box. The other costs should stay the same.(paypal fee will probably increase by a few cents) From what I've heard two sets "do" fit in one box, but it's very tight and there's a risk of the books getting damaged, so Alex would rather not do it. (I could be completely wrong here)

Thank you for your information. In that case, it seems to be a fair price for all 5 books
Re: Book cost total estimates
Hey, Alex here. Shipping two sets per box didn't work how I had originally thought it would so I've resorted to using the larger resizeable boxes. Those come with plenty of cushioning compared to single set boxes but tend to be more expensive depending on where they get shipped to.

Hi Alex. I live in Germany and thought about maybe doing some sort of group ordering for some people I know in my area. It would be interesting to know the costs for shipping of the larger boxes to me and how many sets of books can fit inside of it (just 2?).
Re: Book cost total estimates
It really depends. For Belgium it was cheaper to send multiples in large boxes up to three sets so I'm assuming it should be about the same for Germany. I know that the largest box I have only holds three sets but that's fine since it's cheaper to split it after that.

Just to keep everyone in check, the first printing isn't Actually done yet since we're re-printing the 4th volume due to water damage.

This is so awesome!
85$ is a great deal for a set of books this big. I cant wait for the second printing.
One question though. When the second wave of applications start to be excepted how many will you be excepting and judging from last time how fast will those spots fill up? I would hate to miss this opportunity for a second time.

Re: Book cost total estimates
Considering that the books become cheaper the more are printed so an restriction on amount is rather silly.
Alex said somewhere that the signups will last for a month, but if you want to know this print took over half a year from scratch to finished books mostly due to nobody knowing what to do. I joined somewhere when there was still under 250 sets being printed and that was 5 months ago I think...
And the group was made about 8 months ago...
I'm not actually even sure how I ended up into the group... My friend just told me about it and poof =I
The member amount pretty much exploded after EQD post and I'm myself rather exited to hear how many of them are actually ready to buy a book.

Cool, that's good to hear. But as I take it I might as well come back in 5-6 months. I talked to one of the organizers of this at EverFree and he said his house is still full of the first batch. Good thing season 3 is coming out soon i'm running out of pony to fill the gap.
