Fallout: Equestria PDFs
Re: Fallout: Equestria PDFs
I've uploaded my files to my dropbox, they work for me so they probably should for you too.
I'm sending you the link per PM, please don't post it anywhere else.
(The files may still be uploading)

Re: Fallout: Equestria PDFs
Thanks for that. As slow as my newly discovered method is, that will probably be a quicker fix as long as it doesn't have the same random issue.
Oddly, the link at the beginning of the thread works in nothing except Acrobat Pro (which I just remembered I didn't install with my other CS stuff), so I do have a working PDF from that, it just refuses to load in anything else.
Thanks again. Hopefully your PDFs fix it for me. Not sure what's going on, but Acrobat threw an error up about transparency (regardless of the settings I used) and then told me I don't have Times New Roman (wtf? included in OSX, included in the Word font book, included in half of Adobe's stuff, I'm sure I have it)
Oh well, if nothing else I can read what I want in Acrobat itself

Yeah, weird, I tried the downloads myself and they worked fine, all I can say is try again.ProfessorPat wrote:Thanks for that. As slow as my newly discovered method is, that will probably be a quicker fix as long as it doesn't have the same random issue.

Re: Fallout: Equestria PDFs
Now at least I get a specific error that goes along with what I'm seeing.
When I open any of these in Acrobat Pro, I get this message
As you could see in that first pic, there's plenty of characters not displaying correctly.
Seems to work in Adobe programs only (Reader and Acrobat Pro) and possibly not 100% in those, nothing else will read them properly. I just thought of trying reader. Never needed to use it in OSX as Preview always handled PDFs just fine. Not sure what's different about this particular setup that doesn't like other programs.

Re: Fallout: Equestria PDFs
Since you have problems with opening the pdf files and only want to see the interior I went for the quick and dirty fix and just uploaded some screenshots of the pdf. I hope that helps a little.

Thanks. Pretty much what I was looking for. Do the memory orb breaks have an orientation they normally follow though? I noticed it flipped there where the gears never changed.

They are orientated to contain the memory so it kinda looks like this ( memory ).ProfessorPat wrote:Thanks. Pretty much what I was looking for. Do the memory orb breaks have an orientation they normally follow though? I noticed it flipped there where the gears never changed.
