Hey Everyone!
I'd like to take time today to announce the official Fallout: Equestria ebook! This is the complete story, as printed, including the fabulous chapter artwork by Hobbes. I'd like to extend a very special thank you to djazz for taking the initiative to put this all together. We tested it on a variety of devices, but if something shows up funny on yours feel free to PM djazz so he can look into it.

• Make chapter art borders transparent to look better on dark backgrounds (night theme). No more annoying white borders!
• Update support for Apple Books Gray and Night themes. Monochrome images uses same color as the text to blend in better, and is easier on the eyes.
• Add support for dark modes on the Lithium EPUB reader app on Android.
• Add a generic dark mode detection script for other reading systems (requires JavaScript).
• Set widows and orphans to 1.
• Tweak font sizes, margins and other spacings in various places.
• Make all hyperlinks the color of the text. This makes the ToC more readable in KEPUB.
• Limit the width of chapter subtitles so the linebreaks are as close to the printed edition as possible (InDesign can do smart centered text that looks good, but CSS can't do that automatically). This is also done on the copyright, disclaimer and acknowledgement page.
• Long lines on the ToC page now ellipses if too long, instead of breaking into a new line.
• Embed a semibold smallcaps font, which is used on the volume pages. Smallcaps should also work better now!
• Add subheading of the Prologue to the ToC.
• Remove hanging punctuation script, use only CSS property instead.
• Fix rendering in WebKit-based browsers, glyphs overflowing in margin got cut off.

Yay for that ! I'll be able to get some friends to read it after all

I just reached Volume 2. I have to confess, I never actualy read FoE before. I heard how good it was, and I wanted a physical book before getting into it. I rarely ever got to read stories that got to my feelings like this one.
I saved it for summer and started a few days ago, and now I'm afraid of reading it too fast

Cant wait for future prints.

I was looking at picking up that ereader or maybe their H2O model. How do you like it? Is the text clear?

The Kobo Glo HD has been discontinued. :/ But I really enjoy reading on it. It has a 300 ppi 6" eInk greyscale screen with frontlight. It feels very close to reading on paper. You can change font size, line spacing, add custom fonts or choose between the built-in ones. You can highlight text, annotate and add bookmarks. The epub support is great, it also supports comics (cbz/cbr). Reading PDFs on it is a pain, the pdf viewer is very slow. I have had it for almost two years now. All Kobo ereaders run the same OS. And battery life is very good, it does not need to be charged often!

The old Kobo Aura H2O is the closest to it (and that has a microsd slot for extended storage) and has a slightly bigger screen (same amount of pixels), retails for $159. The new H2O is a slight upgrade, it has no microsd slot but has the double amount of storage, retails for $179. Then there's the Kobo Aura One with 7.8" screen. It has a screen flush with the bezel. It is the most expensive model though. $229.
There is also a model called Kobo Aura Edition 2, which also has a 6" screen like my Kobo Glo HD, but the resolution is much lower, only 212 ppi (pixels are more visible). It's the cheapest model though, retails for $99. It's the only model that isn't waterproof.

And then there are Kindles. To read epub on them you have to use a PC to convert epub to mobi.
And there are a ton other eInk ereaders, but Kobo and Amazon's Kindle are the most common ones.
