Call it, me being a business owner. Call it, me loving this fandom. Honestly, take your pick here. But I can understand this increase in cost for the reserve list. Extra expenses will always happen in the same manner of the saying "If you want to make god laugh, tell him your plans". Where I respect every opinion I have read thus far, I will say that I for one, love the idea of supporting future projects in general. If I knew that it would in someway help my PH a reality, I would invest in the project personally. I also know that this will cost a lot of caps to make happen and for those that do want project horizons, Murky (please!!!!) or the like, the funds will need to be there to make it happen.
I for one do not mind to foot the bill for future projects, even if they are just subsequent printings of FoE! I love this fandom and where it has shrunk over the years, those of us that are left are more than family at this point. I want to see PH printed, I want to see another printing of Pinkeyes, I want this to continue. So long as the powers at be remain honest and true to the cause, I will keep paying the price. One day I want to open my box of mementos and see these books waiting for me to enjoy again and again. That way I can relive these days and have that moment of remembrance of what I was a part of at one time.
If me paying a little extra now somehow gives someone else the chance at that moment I am wanting, even if it just a smile that lasts a few hours then it is worth every thing in my wallet. Smiles people, that is what this is all about, smiles.

The fandom needs more people like you. This is the best and most mature response to the "im mad they increased the price and i dont understand it. So im gonna whine online" issue that recently arose.
Very well done.
Cheers

You can still sign up on the reserve list, but no promises on how far down the list we'll be able to make it.cranberrypunch wrote:Any chance of me getting a book?
There's definitely way more people interested than we have books available.

Hey zemming, how's the big batch from the reserve list going so far?zemming wrote: You can still sign up on the reserve list, but no promises on how far down the list we'll be able to make it.

Re: Lost my invoice on the printing..
I just finished deleting the unpaid invoices, and we're still on track to get the 1st and 2nd batches shipped out this weekend. There's some logistical issues with doing a 3rd batch of invoices for the reserve list, so it'll probably be a bit before an update on that front.SamXala wrote:Hey zemming, how's the big batch from the reserve list going so far?zemming wrote: You can still sign up on the reserve list, but no promises on how far down the list we'll be able to make it.
