Fallout equestria prints
So I've been a brony for a while and I love fallout. So I was browsing the mods for fallout 4 on console and looked up mlp mods and discovered the Fallout: Equestria universe. I've been reading since 2-3 days ago and recommended the story to my friend who found out there were hardback copies of the story.
1. Can someone give a lowdown on the books, prints and schedules?
2. I've heard about project horizons and pink eyes (that's what its called right?) and was wondering if any one could explain theses to me?

1) Best answer is to look around this site for yourself as it is unlikely that I will be able to cover anything.
Books: So far there have been 2 print runs of Fallout: Equestria (FOE) and there is supposedly a third happening "soon", whatever that means. First print was 4 books, second was 2 books. Both runs contained Chapter 20.5 (Sexual content: read at your own risk) which is considered cannon by Kkat but not written by her.
Schedule: No schedule at the moment, but there is hint of a third FOE print and and a Project Horizons print, neither of which have been confirmed. Prints happen when there is enough interest. Watch the main page for any news on prints and/or subscribe to the RSS feed or use Change Detection to get notified by email.
2) Pink Eyes is a fan fiction of FOE (A fan fiction within a fan fiction) that gained popularity. It is short at around 300 pages (I think) and there was a print of it around a year and a bit ago. Follows the story of Puppysmiles, with little to no reference of anything but the world Kkat created. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last copies of it.
Project Horizons is likely the most popular and definitely the longest fan fiction of FOE with around 4000 pages (about double the length of the original FOE). It follows the story of Blackjack. I can't be too specific about this one as I have not read it, although I do intend to buy it in hardback when it comes out for print.
If you have anymore questions regarding generals or specifics don't be afraid to ask, and welcome to the world of FOE.
P.S. I became a fallout fan after reading FOE!
Edit: Added links and the notification message. I love me some bbcode!

I super hope that 'soon' isn't the same as 'a long time from now'.

I hope 'soon' means in time for christmas

I super hope this super much.C_II_R wrote: I super hope that 'soon' isn't the same as 'a long time from now'.
I was thinking and hoping that both FOE 3rd print and Project Horizons come out for Christmas. It seems this is the general consensus.Brain wrote: I hope 'soon' means in time for christmas
I'm hoping this "something special" is the aforementioned dual print around Christmas. Although I was hoping there would be a few more updates from the team to reassure us that they weren't all hit by cars or midterms or something and that they are still working on it. April 1, 2016 was a long time ago for an update. A lot can happen in 6 months.zemming wrote: There is a lot of work going on in the background to make this next printing something special.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding, I know things have been quiet for way too long around here. Rest assured we're still alive.Spydude wrote:Although I was hoping there would be a few more updates from the team to reassure us that they weren't all hit by cars or midterms or something and that they are still working on it.
I personally have not been able to commit the same amount of time to this project as in years prior thanks to my school workload these past semesters. Unfortunately based on our present status I do not anticipate a printing to be ready for Christmas.
We definitely want more books as much as you guys. I'm still very excited for a 3rd printing and I know many people are looking forward to Horizons with it's five monumental books. We will continue to put work into the project as we have time; and will keep you guys updated when we make enough headway to guarantee a printing's success.
In the meantime if you have any questions I will work to be more active on the forums. We can also be reached by email at FOEPrintProject@gmail.com, or feel free to email me personally at zemming@zemming.org.
Thank you,
zemming

Good to hear, even if it will take awhile.zemming wrote: We definitely want more books as much as you guys. Yay, more activity is the best type of activity!!!zemming wrote: In the meantime if you have any questions I will work to be more active on the forums.
I was so excited when I came over here and saw an unread post! You wouldn't believe the excitment...
Honestly any discussion about literally anything is great (except new episodes, haven't watched anything past S6 E3 yet), I love interacting with other members of the community.
Thanks for the update zemming, always glad to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Spydude.

Just glad to hear you guys are still alive. Any news is good news, even if it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear. I'll happily continue to wait patiently.zemming wrote: Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding, I know things have been quiet for way too long around here.
