Book Arrivals v3
Re: Book Arrivals v3
I received my copy yesterday. Here it is with appropriate beverages, all dolled-up and looking gorgeous:
What (totally) happened upon receiving the book (complete with pidgin German):
WHY HELLO THERE TINY MARTIN LUTHER.
I HAVE A SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR YOU.
"Ein delivery? Das ist gut! Was ist?"
IT'S A BOOK. HAPPY READING.
"Danke, Frau Kaiju Derpy."

Re: Book Arrivals v3
Signed on up just to post this
Quite enjoyed everyone's displays thus far; makes me really want to create a FO:E shrine on a shelf complete with posters and plushies.
I started collecting late, so when I heard there was a 3rd printing I jumped right on.
Overall, extremely happy!
My 1st-3rd collection is complete! Now to get my hands on Pink Eyes and 1st edition dust jackets... (PM me if you're willing to part with yours )
The dust jacket on this feels so good and strange at the same time; a great option to mute that foil stamp. Did I mention just how wonderful that stamp is?
Hit that light just right and it shines! While I knew the pages were going to be thin, it's another thing to actually be here now turning them.
But, the art (oh the art, great stuff!) and text come out just fine; good going there.
Thank you everyone who worked to make this book, and all previous, possible!
Here's to hoping a Project Horizons print happens (hooves crossed); I'll be eagerly waiting (get that R&R first of course)
EDIT: Fun side note, I sent a copy to a friend a few states away, which the team here was able to handle extremely well, (think 18 hours drive), and his mom has already resolved to make the cookies and send them to me. So there ya go, was initially confused why the inclusion of a cookie recipe, but now quite glad.

It's finally here! The only one in Austria perhaps? Anyway, I'm so happy to be part of this. Thank you everyone who has made this possible. You guys are the real heroes.

That was impressively fast for delivery to Canada. I look forward to proudly showcasing this on my shelf

Both copies came in a day ahead of schedule. Me and my friend are super glad to have them; been wanting a print copy for about 5 years now and missed the boat on the second print when I had the chance. Thanks so much to all involved and I will be eagerly waiting for any other print projects that happen (Project Horizions and Murky...)
