Book cost total estimates

Post by Arcane_Scroll » Fri Aug 17, 2012 8:36 am

Currently this exists only to give a somekind of estimation of how much the books might cost for people in the second printing. This was calculated for the first print with aproximtely 350+ people so these prices are eligible for changes. Do NOT send any information to the email address. We are still waiting to move to our new website before we accept new orders.

In the states:

$73.08 USD book cost
$6.19 USD shipping cost
$2.16 USD box and packing materials cost
$1.00 USD emergency screwup fund
$3.17 USD paypal transaction fee

------$85.60 USD Total cost

In Canada:

$73.08 USD book cos
t$32.95 USD shipping cost
$0.94 USD box and packing materials cost
$1.00 USD emergency screwup fund
$5.00 USD paypal transaction fee

------$112.97 USD Total cost

Internationally:

$73.08 USD book cost
$47.95 USD shipping cost
$0.94 USD box and packing materials cost
$1.00 USD emergency screwup fund
$5.00 USD paypal transaction fee

------$127.97 USD Total cost

If where you live was not posted, ask about it in your email.

We have three ways for you to pay, In order they are:

Paypal. This is our main way since it's the fastest for us.
Amazon for all of you who don't have paypal accounts.
MoneyBookers (Now known as Skrill) For people who live where paypal is not an option.

Don't send money at this time. We are between printings and I need to set up the second wave before I can even think about accepting money again.

Does "the states" also cover Alaska and Hawaii?

Will there be any more printings? I'd really like to get signed up for it if possible. :fluttershysad:

Yes, there will be a second printing. Sign-ups are not yet opened. The exact date is not yet fixed but won't be very far off. I suggest you read the FAQ in the meantime, that should answer some of your questions.

Not that I know of, sorry.

Edit: You could subscribe to this RSS newsfeed: feed.php?mode=news
That's what is being shown on the front page of the website and should contain any project related news.

Actually Just thought of something else. Does Subscribing to a post send you an Email if it updates? We could just make a Post with information on when and if it becomes available (Wave 2), and just either lock it, or mark that they shouldn't post in it. I may not be much help as an Artist or proof reader, but if there is anyway i can help out i'd be glad to lend a Hoof.

Yes, subscribing to a post does send you an email, but only in some circumstances. It would be easier and more reliable to just set up a dedicated mailing list, avoiding the messy post-hack altogether. That way you wouldn't even need to be registered on the forum.

Hi howtofall,
at the moment you can't, because we are in between printings. The first print run has already ended. There will be a second printing, but that has not yet begun.
The exact date for the second print run is not yet known, but most likely it will start in about a month, give or take a few weeks. Stay posted!
