The long vigil continues.
Re: Possible Printing Someday?
I heard that prints had been available at Bronycon. Is/was this true? I'm super bummed out if it was and I missed it ._.

Another printer I believe was selling those.
Re: Possible Printing Someday?
Anyone changed out the ministry of image set of project horizons books? They look real good and the chapter art is amazing. I've been debating on getting the set but the shipping is 200$. Making their set come to about 400$. Pretty outta my price range these days.

I too have been struggling with whether to get them. On Fimfiction Somber's expressed his approval of the IoM product and that's been pushing me into considering to buy them even though I'd like to be patient for what Absolutely Everything would provide.

I think the fact that there has been such a wait for a Horizons to be done here will push many to seriously consider the Ministry of Image version. Its just been too long of a wait for many.
Re: Possible Printing Someday?
I completely understand that it has been quite a while to say the least, and we appreciate everyone's patience. It's not a huge secret that we have been working on Horizons, and obviously we are looking forward to printing it. It's a story that means a lot to a lot of people, and we want to give it the same treatment we have for the original FoE and MN7. Part of that is having a price point that's reasonable and accessible to as many people as possible. And the other part is making sure it's the same high-quality we strive for with our printings.
Perhaps the biggest investment we make for that is with the chapter art. Right now that's the biggest limiting factor, simply due to the size of the book and the level of detail we want to capture. If any of you have been to cons recently, Hobbes has an art-book for FoE and MN7 that show the full-resolution art printed on 12" x 8" pages. It's amazing the sheer time and effort he puts into every piece, and even though it's not always the easiest to see when shrunk down for the books, we have always felt it's important as part of developing these books designed to last a lifetime. And we share that philosophy with every aspect of the books. But at the end of the day, typesetting, the physical design of the books, and et cetera, is quick to do compared to the art. Once we reach that point, I expect work to pick up pretty quickly.
Until then, we do have other projects in the pipeline, that may or may not include another printing of Duck and Cover

It's a relief to hear that PH hasn't been forgotten, that these books are indeed meant to last, and that there are still more projects being planned. Thank you Zemming and to your team for all this work.
