Just a Quick Update

Honestly, I don't think anyone here would have had any qualms with a delay in order to get chapter artwork in the books.
What was the big hurry, anyways?

Put simply, most all of the people working on the project will not be able to commit the amount of time required for a project of this scale if it is push back any later in the year.

I personally wish they'd do another printing like the first. It was a much more complete and quality collection. Five books instead of three, with artwork for each chapter.

I'm sorry you feel that our work is incomplete and not a quality set. We invested a lot of time and effort to make the books the best we can.
To clarify, we are printing a Two Book set, not three.

I know you guys are doing this for the community with nothing in return. I'm sure everyone here appreciate that. However, I feel you are sacrificing a bit too much of the book to have them out. I have waited 2 years for this, and to be honest, I'd rather wait another 2 years to have a book set like the first one, than to have the one right now. Reducing the number of books is something I can accept, but dropping the art as well is a bit too much.

I'm really sorry if I am being ungrateful, but this is truly how I feel about this. Rushing it out just takes away many values that people want in a physical version of FoE.

Right now we are not making any plans for a future printing until after this one is completed.

You haven't missed it. Right now we are still waiting for that one more quote before we can finalize the cost and start sending out invoices.

If you want more details, I'm planning on getting a new update post up tonight or probably tomorrow morning that will give a better idea of where we're at and what we're waiting for.
