Dammit, I've been waiting since August to sign up for this and I end up missing it because I forgot to check the site often enough. I see mentions of a waiting list, how do I get myself on this? I didn't wait this long just to be told to wait another half a year.

once we get the estimates when will the payments be due i have a bunch of stuff coming up in February but i will be able to have the money early early March at the latest.

I tried to sign-up, now I know, a day after it was closed. This is incredibly depressing, I've been waiting since before the deadline of the last one, that I also missed. Any estimates, waiting lists, anything?

I think with the demand of this one it should be pay or the order goes down the line. There's a good number of us who have been waiting a long time. And for a 1 and a half month window to get smacked into a 10 day window just seems incredibly unfair.

Realize that these people are doing this on their own, and are juggling many issues I'm sure I can't even think of. They had planned to have a month long window, but their capacity was quickly reached, even after they added 100 to their pre-orders.

If I am wrong then feel free to correct me, but they are doing the best they can and are getting nothing for it. Calling them out for 'too small a window' is foolish, seeing as without them absolutely no-one would be getting these books.

You're both right, we were planning on a month and a half window, up until the end of february, but we hit our limit within 10 days. We never posted anywhere but the facebook and the forums. We didn't even advertise on the dedicated F:oe groups all because we didn't want to reach capacity that fast. But it happened anyways.. We are sorry, we didn't mean for it to go by so fast. We have people who have been with us since the first printing that didn't get a chance to buy any books that missed the window as well. It isn't fair, we don't enjoy it either but it's what happened sadly.

As for the issues, we're not even running on a non-profit stand point so we have to be VERY tight and close with everyone's money and make sure it all goes to the same place at the same times. The storage unit we will be housing the books is also another factor that makes it so we can't have more than that many books. No promises, but we are looking at a Wave II if we can get some San Diego bronies to help with a second storage unit. We can't do anything until we for sure have people to help with so many books. Alex is a wonderful guy but he burned out easy enough with 300. We don't want George hypothetically burning out on 800.
