** This post is for alternate Dust Jackets. You may post your own but your jackets must remain together in the same post. **
Alright so I got some requests back from the facebook group a while back so I figured I might as well post them all onto here.
I still have to finish the set but I'll edit this and update it as I go along.
Volume 1 - Littlepip

And that's it! They're all done now, and resized to professorpat's suggestions.

These were the dust jackets I personally preferred. Not sure who made them, but I think they were based off the official ones while they were a WIP.

I like these ones better because they use actual FOE pictures for volumes 2 and 5, as opposed to random city scenes. But I do prefer the design of the inner flaps for the official ones. Maybe I'll use some of my meager photoshop skills to combine them for my own dust jackets.

RP, I really like your dust jackets but the only thing I have a gripe with is Volume 4. I think it would be better if there was the Pink Cloud on it in my opinion.
Either way it's still awesome

These were done by someone else that took pieces from ours and (somewhat)finished them. Funny enough, 2 from ours is official Fallout Concept Art. 3 and 4 we went and found the sources for the pics and un-cropped them(sometimes only 20%). Your reason for the 5th was the exact reason why I didn't like it. All of the pics were scenery porn except the last which while the pic is all right, doesn't match the quality nor match to motif of the rest of them. It also kinda goes against Kkat idea of keeping Littlepip's undescribed appearance(sacrifice I had to make on the first.)
RPpirate: These are looking a lot better, love the chibi work.

These are really neat, especially #3 and #4 from RPpirate's set. However, I still prefer the "official" ones. Dem images.

That is the best description of anything I've ever heard. Point taken on the last volume cover, I guess it comes down to personal preference.

Pointy ponies! I love drawing these things even if steelhooves was a pain in the butt. :I
However I agree, I've had this sort of design going on for a while but I never really posted them on the facebook page because I was asked not to a long long time ago after I was posting my old ones.

Alright guys, not sure where I should put this as it's more a matter of all jackets, not just alternates, but I just finished up some PDFs to use as templates to be sure everything is lined up and where it should be. Any interest in showing those and I'll make a new thread with the link to the templates and a description of how to use them.

I love your dust jackets, RPpirate! I would say that they were my first choice to use when I do finally get something printed, but there are a few things that make them slightly less than perfect. Please don't take this as tearing your designs apart; I see it as closer to wanting something I really like be as best as possible, whether my tone reflects that or not.
Most obviously and distractingly, your picture of Steelhooves doesn't fit with the style of the other portraits. Less noticeably outside of higher resolutions (and from the discovery of the artifacts around the dividers, that of the hard copies is very high), the gear border seems rather pixelated. And being quite nitpicky, the flap header images are somewhat fuzzy and some compression artifacts appear around the gears on the spine of the second cover.
I'm not saying that any of these have to be—or even (beyond perhaps the SH portrait) should be—fixed, but they might be things to think about if you still have the layered originals and were ever already working on them for some reason. And none of them (again, except for possibly that one picture; I'm really not too fond of the break in style) will likely keep me from using your copies, anyway. Sorry!

Here are Dust Jackets I made together with Dragmaister for our own copies:
Dropbox
We decided to make Dust Jackets of our own because we felt that none of the existing one were what we really wanted for our books, even though they looked good otherwise. These were a bit of pain to make tbh, but overall I like what we achieved.
I'd like to thank ProfessorPat for creating proper templates for these Dust Jackets.
What they look like IRL.
Click the image for more pics.
(EDIT: Fixed the sizes and converted them to proper CMYK colourspace and corrected the typos Pugs found & the fifth volume title.
If you find any horrible mistakes, then please let me know and I'll fix 'em asap.)
