My pleasure. Its always good to be of assistance and I will be where ever I can. But until such time, I'm going back under the radar as firstly, I'm not a reading person so staying active on a forum to a set of books I honestly haven't read, doesn't make since.

(But wait you said you made the dust jackets but you've never read the story? Yes that is correct. I made those jackets off snip-its of the story told by people who had read the story. You don't need to have the knowledge of something to do it. It just helps alot. :pinkiehappy: )

Secondly, I've got my own projects I'm currently working on with other people, so that takes top priority right now.

Alright folks.
I finally got the covers from print and applied them onto the books. :rainbowkiss: And they look so awesome! ...even though I say it myself here. (You can see them in my original post on the first page of this thread. Click the image and you'll get to Picasa gallery with few shots I took in different poses. Oh la la.)

Those covers look amazing! They're def my go to should I get dust jackets printed out. Question, what kind of paper did you use to print it and what printing service did you use to get it done?

It was some semi-glossy paper the printing company had. A tad bit thicker than normal paper used in dust jackets. If you're going to do ones of your own, it's best to go to the printing company and ask them directly. Most likely they will give you some samples to see and feel... You might not want to go all out on the glossiness, it will really show fingerprints and other smudges.

I did the printing at a family run "ad-printing" firm, but they'll really do anything you want at relatively low cost, which was nice. It's really best to see what you'll find near you and ask around, compare prices.

We decided to make Dust Jackets of our own because we felt that none of the existing one were what we really wanted for our books, even though they looked good otherwise. These were a bit of pain to make tbh, but overall I like what we achieved.

I'd like to thank ProfessorPat for creating proper templates for these Dust Jackets.

(EDIT: Fixed the sizes and converted them to proper CMYK colourspace and corrected the typos Pugs found & the fifth volume title.
If you find any horrible mistakes, then please let me know and I'll fix 'em asap.)

Okay, first thing - they're absolutely amazing!
And ... I think I've spotted a little error on Volume 5. "... to the expanding world of this sory ..." - I think, it should be "story".
If you have any question or problem feel free to visit our IRC channel or just send us an e-mail to FOEPrintProject@gmail.com!

These are insanely good looking. They look really professional. Would you be interested in doing dust jackets for future projects as well?

Of course! While we were making these covers we agreed that we'd make Project Horizons and Pink Eyes covers as well to match these once those get "booked".

Wow, those covers are amazing!
I think I found a few typos though:
Volume 5:
"[...] that a rentless shower [...]" - Shouldn't it be relentless?
"[...]over Steelhooves. Wo knows [...]" - I think you mean "Who".
"[...]LIE BEHIND hIS [sic] IRON MASK?" - the "h" in "his" is lowercase

Apart from those few typos, these are perfect!

EDIT: I apologise; I had a previous version of these covers. Please ignore the first two.
