Any idea when the orders will ship for people from the waitlist who received an invoice?
Not to sound impatient, I just hate multi-week suspense.

I'll probably get the first batch taken care of this weekend or so.

If I join the wait-list next fortnight Monday what would my chances be of actually getting the book?

I can't speculate on what your individual chance is. The waitlist really was never intended to service people who missed signups.
"If there are leftover sets at the end of this project, those on the waitlist may be offered an opportunity to purchase the books." That's all.

Re: Second Printing Questions Thread
Hello,
I am from Canada. I was wondering if it was normal that the tracking doesn't show any new city since 7/29/14, the day the package was transferred to USPS ? It tracked a few cities from 7/21/14 to 7/29/14 then stopped updating.
I also wanted to say a huge thank you for the book. For what I have seen from the pictures that were posted here, the finished product looks awesome. The amount of work that went into this project is just amazing!

Honestly, Canadian orders have been showing up even when the tracking says otherwise. I'm not sure why they're so slow, but they should get there.
Though that is on my list of things to talk to our distributor about. They're currently looking into something else, but I'll bring it up when they get back with me. So if something's fishy, we should be able to figure it out.

Re: Second Printing Questions Thread
I just signed up for a set yesterday and i Know it may be too late to get a copy. but i heard that the book was made yesterday so can't help that.
Also about this line here.
"Each set will be $80, plus shipping and the payment processor's fee." I live in Ontario, Canada, so what would be the approximate cost to ship to Canada, so i can get the payment ready if i am able to get a seat?
P.S. Thank you for making these books I can see how much dedication you've had in trying to make as many as possible to get to everyone.

As stated in the FAQ, shipping to Canada is $36.73.
Thanks for your support!
