Lo! I am not dead!

Sorry my friends. You may have noticed that I have been rather inattentive for the last month and a half. It is because I was doing a project for senior level class I am in... and I am a freshman. Ironically the things I designed could appear in the fallout universe. You can see an image of the design here: http://imgur.com/a/m74XK

This project has is what has been sucking up all my time and caused me to go multiple days in a row without sleep. Now that the design is finished rest assured I will be able to send you guys your payment confirmations and do everything else that is needed for the project this summer.

P.S. If you are interested Nixie tubes are old displays that were invented in the 50's. Eventually I plan to integrate this project with a holotape player which I have half built.

Good luck with your project! Looks pretty intense so far, will you post pictures here when you're finished?

Damn.
That is the sort of thing I want to do, although since I started at community college I haven't designed any actual boards, although I have designed and bread-boarded a number of circuits. I can't wait until next year when I transfer and begin this type of project :D.

That's cool, I've never worked with nixies myself, always wanted to but the high voltage requirement always scared me off, may I ask how your generating it? did you find a HV boost reg or is it all done with discreet components? I have made some numitron boards though, similar age tubes but with a 3v segment voltage. and your making a holotape player? that's awesome! I was actually planning to do that a while back but never got round to finishing it, I did design and make some holotapes though (see here:- http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:32594 ), and they did play sort of with a quick hack of a machine ( a broken walkman and an electric drill)

Interesting project, I would very much like to see it in completion.
Also, you said you were sending out confirmation e-mails regarding payment? When are they expected to arrive?

(also, finally got paypal to work! The book may yet be mine! :pinkiebounce: )

Ok, I've looked over my paypal info again and found that the "instant transfer" (by using a credit card) will be pending until may 17th, does this mean the money I sent will not go through or is it waiting for conformation from you? (as a first time user of paypal, this is confusing me greatly)

Payment notifications will begin to trickle out tonight. Sorry about those who did multiorders. I am going to see if Kayleen, Christelle and I can pound through them in a day.

There are two Email address's I use fairly interchangeably, and I'm concerned I may have used a different one for my Paypal account than I used to sign up. Is there any way to confirm whether a payment was received for my order?
