ranks by post count is a bit odd as I don't spend every day on a damn computer, so it doesn't exactly sound fair...unless of course the ranks hold no real value : P

I am not a fan of post count ranks. It leads to a "we're better then them because we post more" attitude on most boards, and that really makes newcomers feel unwelcome.

User titles, making posts 50% longer since... sorry I'll stop now, but would it be possible to make the banners smaller (or remove them and just leave the text)? I know, they look shiny and all that, but I think their main purpose should be to show which printing someone "belongs" to at a glance. Like they are now they are making short posts unnecessarily long.
Sorry if I'm stepping on someones toes here, but that's just my opinion. If the banners stay like they are now then that's how it is.

Edit: Maybe let the people add the banners to their signature themselves, that would be an easy solution.

Another topic that has been brought up here are rankings based on postcount. I'm actually not really in favor of those, but again, that's just my personal opinion and that I in no means speak for others or intend to do so. If more people want them, listen to them rather than me. (If post-ranks are in discussion at all, that is. If not just ignore this)

Are we talking forum ranks or something? Like "Stable Dweller," "Steel Ranger," "Raider," and such? Or just titles, like "Governator" and "The Mustachiest Mustachio"?

Look up at Arcane_Scroll, just a few posts up. See how he's got the "Administrator" and "Global Mod" banners under his name? Like one of those, but would say "FoE: First Print" or "PH: First Print"

Although forum ranks based on how many posts you have would be neat too.
